Why MILV

The contract, the governance, and the place you would be reading from

Everything a radiologist asks in the first call — rates, coverage, credentialing, autonomy and workload — answered before you send a CV.

What the contract includes

Terms written to keep practitioners for decades

Transparent compensation

Published per-RVU and per-shift rates with quarterly reconciliation. Bonus tied to group performance, not to individual turnaround pressure.

Malpractice with tail

Occurrence-equivalent coverage and tail included in every contract, on-site or remote.

Credentialing handled

Our medical staff office manages licensure, hospital privileges and payer enrollment across every covered site.

CME and academic time

Annual CME allowance, protected academic days and teaching opportunities with residents rotating through the network.

Home reading setup

Diagnostic-grade monitors, dictation, secure connectivity and 24/7 informatics support supplied and maintained.

Volume you agreed to

Worklist targets are set with you in advance and monitored by the practice quality committee, with relief coverage when volume spikes.

MILV physician partners in a governance meeting

Independent, physician-owned, and staying that way

MILV has never sold to a national aggregator. Rate structures, worklist rules, quality standards and hiring decisions are made by practicing radiologists in the group. Every contracted practitioner has a named partner sponsor and a seat in the quarterly practice meeting.

Contractors who want a longer horizon can move onto a partnership track after two years of consistent reading, with a defined buy-in and full voting rights on completion.
